Obituary for Sherry Lyn Shergy
Sherry Lyn Shergy, 66 years old of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed away on Saturday May 28, 2022 at Creekside Rehab and Nursing in Hagerstown.
She was born July 9, 1955 in Hagerstown, Maryland and was the daughter of the late Lawrence Wolfe and Ellen Pheabus. Sherry was employed by Flowers Bakery in Houston, Texas before she moved back to Maryland.
Sherry was a loving and devoted mother to her son Nicholas Decatur Shergy, who survives her. She is also survived by her brother, Gregory Pheabus of Hagerstown, MD, her sisters, Nancy Cross of Hagerstown, Karen O’Neill and husband Jerry of Sammommish, Washington, and Patti Mahony and husband Daniel of Hagerstown, MD. She is also survived by her sister in law, Pagan Domer.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Charles Pheabus and brother in law, Charles W Cross.
Funeral arrangements are held with Potomac Valley Cremation Center, 305 N Potomac Street, Hagerstown, MD. Family and friends can be received for viewing, Friday June 3, 2022 from 7-8pm at the funeral home. Interment is private.
