Maylon A. Jones, 58, of Hagerstown, MD went to be with the Lord on December 12, 2020 at Meritus Medical Center. Born July 25, 1962 at Washington County hospital, Hagerstown MD, to the late James Matthew Jones, Sr. and Imogene Elaine (Summers), he was preceded in death by his lovely wife Pamela Jones, a sister Carolyn E. Norris, brother Don M. Jones, grandson Chase and granddaughter Clarice. 

He graduated from South Hagerstown High School and served honorably in the U.S. Army. Maylon was a Layman at Asbury United Methodist Church, a member of Hagerstown Fire Police. He was also employed by Hagerstown Spring Works and Jamison Door Company, as well a spent a short time with the U.S. Post Office as a Mail Carrier. 

Maylon is survived by his children Brandy N. Jones, Courtney B.J. Jones, Howard M. King, David E. King, Jaime L. Clevenger, all of Hagerstown, Arthur E. King of Greencastle, PA, as well as siblings James M. Jones, Jr. of Daytona Beach, FL, Shelley W. Hickman of Bowie, MD and Harry G. Jones, of Hagerstown; grandchildren Isabella, Jeremiah, Aubree, Harper and Reagan, great grandson Sebastian; Aunt Agnes Jackson, and by many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins, and his best friend Holly Shrader.

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions/conditions there will not be a normal viewing or funeral service, but the family will have a Private graveside service later/time at Rose Hill Cemetery. Harman Funeral Home P.A., 305 N. Potomac Street, Hagerstown has been entrusted with all preparations.
