Obituary for Lauren Ann Coffman
On Sunday, February 21, 2021, this earth lost a beautiful soul. Lauren Ann Coffman, 37, suddenly passed away in her apartment in Hagerstown, MD.
She was born December 31, 1983 and was the daughter of Barbara Poole Coffman and James (Jim) Coffman.
Lauren is survived by her sister Samantha Nicole Sturm, brother Dustin Matthew Poole, aunts Cindy Poole McArthur, Lynn Poole Vaeth, Katherine Poole Brooks and Robin Coffman Strauss, uncles Jerry
Strauss and Alan Brooks.
She is preceded by maternal grandparents Kathleen Davis Poole and William Poole both of Arbutus, MD, paternal grandparents May and Edward Coffman of Randallstown, MD.
Lauren battled with an auto immune disease since age 23, which made her even stronger of a fighter than she already was. She was the coolest and most laidback person you would ever meet. Everyone who met Lauren, got along with her and loved her company. Lauren was a very strong, stubborn young woman and she fought her battle for almost 14 years. Lauren has so much love for cats, she even rescued a kitty named Felix who was homeless that we found running the streets of Hagerstown, MD. Although there were times when Lauren wanted to give it all up and just let go, she found something in her to keep pushing. She was a kind soul who would always listen when needed and give the best advice.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Hub City Vineyard Church, 17805 Oak Ridge Road, Hagerstown, MD 21740.
