Obituary for Karen Lee Beam (Johnson)
Karen L. (Johnson) Beam, age 65, passed away Friday, April 29, 2022 at the Wellspan Chambersburg Hospital, surround by her loved ones. She was born on October 24, 1956 in Blair County, PA to the late Ronald Lee Johnson and Vonnita "Vonnie" Bair Stopyra.
Karen was a bartender most of her life until she retired to take care of her mother. She enjoyed playing bingo, doing puzzle books and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Karen is preceded in death by her daughter, Sherri Johnson.
Karen was the loving and devoted mother of Wendy Yeager and her wife Christina Long of Chambersburg, PA and Thresa Villalobos and her husband Jaun of Fayetteville, PA. beloved sister of Ronald Johnson and his wife Carol, Robert Johnson and his wife Donna and Jeffery Johnson and his fiancee' Caroline Reinik, proud grandmother of Austin, Gage, Keirstin, Marian, Isaac, and Ashlyn.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
