John was a man of many nicknames-Big John,Coffee John, Gomez, Gonzo, Margaret's John, Jo Bo...I thought of him as Gentle John. He was a fine storyteller, and good at making people laugh, especially in the rooms of AA and NA...his clean and sober journey spanned 10 years. He did service work, ws an AA delegate for a convention, and created and helped run two dual diagnosis mtgs as well. He valued his sobriety anniversary even over his birthday . John was a quiet listener and a deliberate could trust his advice and his friendship. He was a caregiver when his friends needed him and helped out those he knew and all he met. He was a gentleman. His smile, laughter, and warm hug will be sorely missed. His Higher Power was Jesus, and he is with Him now...Save a place for me, John Louis...See you soon. Love, Jill, Brio, and Dicey
