Obituary for James Eugene Zimmerman

James E. Zimmerman, 60, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Hagerstown Healthcare, Hagerstown, MD.

Born January 10, 1960, in Hagerstown, MD he was the son of Elwood Emmons and the late Shirley Bowers Emmons.

James is survived by sons Justin Zimmerman (Brandi - wife) and Jeremy Zimmerman, granddaughter Gracelynn Zimmerman. He is also survived by brothers Elwood Emmons (Dawn-wife), Paul E. Zimmerman, Mike Zimmerman (Renee-wife), sisters Karen Lillard, Claudia Price (Ronnie-husband) and Sharon (Judy) Blickenstaff (Linn-husband), nephews James, Christopher, Dustin, Ryan, Timothy, Matthew, Marcus and nieces Brandy, Angie, Paula and Lauren, along with many great nephews, nieces, and friends.

He was preceded in death by brother-in-law Jim Lillard.

James loved his dogs, going to the beach and WVU Mountaineers. The family requests in lieu of flowers, please make donations to Berkeley County Humane Society.
