After a prolonged illness, on Monday, December 7, 2020 James Michael Ross, Sr. (Michael) of Montgomery Village, MD peacefully departed this life. Michael was born in Washington, DC on November 18, 1953. He grew up in Washington, DC and Takoma Park, MD. He was educated in Montgomery County Maryland public schools and worked many years as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator. He began his career with Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission and subsequently worked for CASE Design and Laidlaw Waste Management. He is survived by one daughter, Lakisha Michelle Ross (Mark Hooper), one son, James Michael Ross, Jr., one brother, Paul Ross and a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Louise Ross, his father Joseph C Ross Sr, his sister Helen Jean Ross and his brother Joseph C Ross, Jr. Services will be held privately.
