James Oscar Jackson, age 60, of Hagerstown, MD died on August 6, 2022 at his home. He was born on December 10th, 1961 in Talbot, Maryland to the late Alfred James and Emma Lacinda (Little) Jackson.

James worked at Coca-Cola before he sadly had a stroke in 2014 and could not work any longer.

James grew up in the church and attended many different churches throughout his lifetime. He loved to read the bible and listen to gospel music. James was a great cook and loved to hang out with his family.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Penny Jackson, who died in 2021 and his son, James Jackson, III who died only a couple of months after Penny in 2022.

James was the loving and devoted father of Justin Jackson, Joseph Jackson, Thomas Jackson, and Tiffany Jackson.

We love and miss our dad everyday, the same for my mom and brother, they were taken too soon from this earth We will keep him in our hearts. He was such a caring and friendly person, he always wanted to help everyone out, and he would give anyone his last, even if that meant he went without. Our family will always love that trait about him and he is someone we always will admire in our lives. James had the most contagious laugh ever, and he knew how to light up a room. He was our families very own comedian and he was a bright light through our darkest times.

James was cremated and will eventually be buried with his wife at a later date.
