Obituary for Herschel Xavier Burns
Herschel Xavier Burns, 61 years old of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed away at his home on Monday November 28, 2022. He was born March 2, 1961, the son of the late Warren Junior Burns and Edna Louise Burns (Beckett).
In addition to his parents Herschel is preceded in death by his Aunts Edith Becks and Ivern Ashby, Uncles, Ralph Beckett and Boots Becks.
He is survived by his sister Bethel Louise Burns, and brothers Warren Andrew Burns and Douglas Layman Burns, all of Hagerstown. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
Herschel loved painting and was an excellent artist. He also enjoyed riding his bike and conversing with people, he had the “gift of gab.”
Funeral arrangements are held with the Harman Funeral Home, P.A., 305 N Potomac Street, Hagerstown, MD. Family and friends can be received for visitation on Saturday December 3, 2022 from 11:00am-12:00pn, with a funeral service at the funeral home at 12:00pm. Interment will immediately follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Pastor Robert Burnett will officiate
