On January 16, 2021, Edward "Bucky" Charles Lerch, Jr., 76, of Rohrersville, went home to be with the Lord with his wife by his side. Born on September 26, 1944 to the late Edward Charles and Esther Ruth (Ketterman), Bucky worked for the railroad for 38 years. He enjoyed his family, his church, hunting, fishing and mushroom hunting. He attended Harvest Life Ministries in Middletown, MD. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Gloria Jean Lewis. He is survived by his wife of almost 26 years, Esther Elizabeth Lerch (St. Clair); his children, Brenda Lerch Keech, Jimmy Lerch, Eddie Lerch, Tina Cartee Strite, Charles Cartee, Lorn Cartee, Laura Cartee Royer, Todd Slifer and Troy Slifer, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, his sisters Barbara Cooper, Judy Irons, Linda Staples, and Kathy Davis; and special cousin Donnie Lerch and special friend Eddie Mumaw.
