Obituary for Edna Mae Green
Edna Mae Yates Green, 92, of Hagerstown passed away at home, Sunday, November 27, 2022 . She was born on January 12,1930 to the late Rosie Yates and James Baltimore Sr.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers Theodore Yates, Cecil Baltimore, Norman Baltimore, John Baltimore and James Baltimore Jr., her sons Gary Yates and Timothy Green and Jeffrey Green, her nephews, Ronald Monroe and Butch Monroe, her granddaughter Sierra Sanon and great granddaughter, Alica Moore.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Green and her sons James Yates Sr. Robert Green, and Daryl Green, all of Hagerstown Md., her sisters Mary Helen Williams of Hagerstown MD and Nettie Baltimore Nobbs of New Mexico,, her nephew, Jeff Monroe of Hagerstown, MD and her nieces Peggy Yates Nelson of Winchester VA, Sharon Monroe Scott, Mary Williams Harris and Cheryl Williams Griffin, all of Hagerstown, MD. She is also survived by a host of cousins, grandchildren ,great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She loved reading and gardening . Edna retired from Western Maryland State Hospital.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 7th from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Harman funeral home, 305 North Potomac Street, Hagerstown, MD. Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown, MD officiated by Elder Tracey Brown.
