Obituary for Dorothy Eunice Keats
Dorothy Eunice Keats, age 76, of Hagerstown, MD passed away peacefully on Monday, November 14, 2022, at CJ's Senior Care Center. She was born on August 31, 1946, in Hagerstown, MD to the late Howell Lawrence and Edith Virginia (Brown) Cook.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her brothers Howell Cook, Jr. and Gary Cook.
She retired from Head Start Human Services in 2011 and was a life member of Zion Baptist Church.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter Angela Thompson, her son, Mark Keats, four grandsons, Mark Keats, Jr., Jalen, Cameron, and Owen Thomson, her sister, Betty Stoner and her husband Tommy, her brother Mwamba Raheem and his wife, Rosalind, also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Saturday, November 19th at 11:00am at Zion Baptist Church, 61 Bethel Street, Hagerstown, MD, with Pastor Ricky Smith officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 10am to the time of service. Interment will immediately follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.harmanfuneral.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Harman Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac Street, Hagerstown.
