Obituary for Donna Jean Allen
Donna Jean Allen, 71, of Hagerstown, MD went to be with the Lord on February 18, 2022. She was born in Gaithersburg, MD on September 24, 1950 to the late Ruby Fay Price (Boyd) and Berlin Roy Ritchie. Donna graduated from Gaithersburg High School and was married to Glenn Davis Allen for over 53 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Barbara Morton and her husband, Forrest "Danny" Morton, and her brother in law Arthur Gourley.
Donna is survived by her husband, Glenn Davis Allen of Hagerstown, her sons Steven Davis Allen of Hagerstown and Michael Davis Allen of Westminster, three grandchildren Amanda McDonald, and her husband Jamar of Martinsburg, WV, Brittney Allen and Steven Allen Jr., both of Hagerstown. She is also survived by her siblings Roy Ritchie, Alice Dees, Linda Gourley and Ray Ritchie, as well as many other nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 pm at Harman Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac Street, Hagerstown, MD, at which time a funeral service will be held. Rev. Don Carpenter will officiate. Interment to immediately follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Sharpsburg, MD.
