Obituary for Donald Lee Hammond Sr.
Donald L “Don” Hammond Sr., 84 of Hagerstown, MD passed away on May 12, 2021 at Meritus Medical Center.
Born September 16, 1936 in Hagerstown, Md, he was the son of the late William K Hammond and Gertrude V Hammond.
He was proceeded in death by his brother Irving Richard “Dick” Hammond and one granddaughter Tiffany Love Hammond.
Don was a graduate of Hagerstown High school.
He was employed by Peoples Drug Store, Lance, and the Herald Mail Company.
He is survived by his son Donald Lee “Don” Hammond II and his wife Tatia Hammond of Palmer, Alaska.
He is also survived by his caregiver Dawn Renner of Hagerstown, MD, Grandchildren, Samanda Jo Hammond, Meagan Lynn Morrow and Heather Marie Ferreira, Great Grandchildren, Mason Morrow, Riley Ferreira and Taylore Ferreira. And Special friends Margaret and Mark Mayle.
Services and burial will be private for the immediate family.
