Obituary for David Leon Cassner
David Leon Cassner A.K.A. The Junk Man, age 58, of Hagerstown, MD passed away Friday, March 5, 2021 at Hagerstown Health Care, Hagerstown, MD.
Born February 14, 1963, he was the son of the late Lewis H. Cassner and late Beulah J. Keefer Cassner.
David was an avid junk collector, who also loved fishing, camping and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by sons Christopher Cassner and Zachary Cassner, stepdaughters Patricia Daywalt and Rhonda Breehl, stepson James Penley Sr. David is also survived by brother Lewis Cassner Sr. (Tammy), sisters Debbie Baker (Donnie), Diane Faith (Brian) and Norma Harne, ten step grandchildren, four step great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
David was preceded by brother Eddie Cassner and step grandson James Penley Jr.
Services will be held on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at 2pm at Evangel Baptist Church 17922 Broadfording Road, Hagerstown, MD.
