Obituary for Charles Wayne Mason Sr.
Charles Wayne Mason Sr. 71, passed away in his home on November 25, 2022 with his family and loved ones by his side. Wayne was born on September 5, 1951 in Shepherdstown, W.Va. to Charles Junior Mason
and Margaret Christine Mason.
He attended South Hagerstown High School and shortly after enlisted in the army in 1974. Wayne married Bonnie, the love of his life, on May 25, 2014. The two fell deeply in love and started a life together with 16 beautiful children between the two of them. Wayne was quite the handyman and jack of all trades. He was loved by all who met him and always kept people laughing. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and loved being with his
family.
Wayne is survived by his 8 children Melissa (Missy) Mason, Charles (Mooner) Mason, Natasha Mason, Christopher Mason, Angela Baker, Mitchell Mason, Antwain Mason, and Austin Claiborne. He is also survived by his blended step children, by the love of his life, John Degrange, Matthew Degrange, Dennis (Billy) Gravley, Stephen Gravley, Laurie Gravley, and Cassidy Gravley. Wayne is survived by his brothers Gregory Mason, Curtis (Kurkey) Mason, Denell Mason, and Darnell Mason. He is survived by his sisters Jane Ingram, Lettea Mason, Karen Augustine, Donna Mason, and Michelle Massey,
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Milford (Bubby) Mason, and one sister Marguerite (Margo) Smith. Also preceded in death by two blended step children by his beloved wife, Joseph Degrange and Jordyn Gravley
Wayne had numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he loved very much.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 10 th , 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Boonsboro Church of God. officiated by his longtime pastors and friends Pastor Daniel Fraley and Pastor Eric Fraley.
A get together will be held after.
