Obituary for Carin Shanise Saez (Whitfield)
Carin Shanie Whitfield Saez, age 47, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away suddenly on Sunday April 10, 2022 at Berkeley Medical Center, Martinsburg, WV. She was born on March 6, 1975 in Washington DC.
Carin was loved by many and she touched a lot of people’s hearts and lives with her warm nurturing, selfless personality. She would give the clothes off her back to anyone who needed it and a place to call home. When she lived in Rockville, MD she was consider the neighborhood “mother” to all the children. She always welcomed everyone, loved them as her own and played all kinds of games like she was a teenager herself. She was a very wise woman to get amazing advice from and help see all sides of a situation. When she became a grandmother she lived her life for her 2 daughters and all 5 grandchildren. She adored them so much and she would drop any and everything to be there for anyone especially her family.
Carin is preceded in death by her sister, Vangela Jackson.
Carin is the wife of Alex Saez of Montgomery Village, MD, beloved daughter of Edward Suggs of Washington, DC and Esther Marie Jackson Whitfield of Washington, DC, loving and devoted mother of Yassmin Drayton of Hagerstown, MD and Yanisha Gregory of Martinsburg, WV, loving sister of LaQueshia Jackson of Norfolk, VA and Kenneth Jackson of Washington, DC proud grandmother of Samyia Drayton, Messiah Drayton, Azai Landis, Esrin Crippen and Eliyas Crippen
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 23rd from 12 noon to 1:00pm at Harman Funeral Home, 305 North Potomac Street, Hagerstown, MD, where funeral services will be held at 1:00pm, with Pastor Charlotte Pan officiating. Interment will be private.
