Obituary for Benjamin Brown Weaver
Benjamin Brown Weaver passed away unexpectedly at the age of 31 years old on Sunday, January 15, 2023, after battling Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) for 18 years.
Ben is survived by his parents, Craig and Sandra Weaver, his sister, Emily (fiancé Anthony Salvatore Jr.), his aunts Debbie Bastow, Penelope Manning, Cynthia Nester, and Christine (David) Brown, as well as his cousins Richard and Christopher Bastow.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Richard and Ruth Brown, and paternal grandparents Carl and Lucille Weaver.
Ben was a son and a brother. He loved animals, computers and being in nature. He will be sadly missed and will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Services will be held at St. Johns Lutheran Church, 141 South Potomac Street, Hagerstown, Maryland 21740 on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) at www.jdrf.org in his name, in hopes of one day finding a cure for T1D or you can mail your memorial contribution to: JDRF Mid-Atlantic Office, 1400 K Street Northwest, Suite 1200.
