Obituary for Anthony Lynn "Tony" Harvey
Anthony Lynn Harvey, 56, of Shippensburg, PA, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021 at his home after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Born July 10, 1964 in Hagerstown, MD, Anthony "Tony" was the son of Sherry Lee Ernde and the late Gregory Lynn Harvey.
Tony enjoyed his career as a master plumber and licensed contractor. This career gave Tony the opportunity to travel throughout the United States.
He was known to be a "workaholic". Despite being a "workaholic", Tony loved riding his Harley motorcycle and going camping in his free time.
Tony was a member of ABATE of Maryland:Dedicated to Freedom of the Road.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Glennis and Roy Harvey and Mary L. Stevens, and stepfather, James M. Ernde. Tony is survived by his loving life partner, Elizabeth Arellano and his much loved fur baby, Gizmo "Gizzy".
Tony is also survived by two brothers: Michael O. Ernde and wife Misty of Williamsport, MD and James Ernde, Jr. (Jimmy John) of Hagerstown, MD.
In addition, Tony is survived by five children: Travis Michael Harvey, Sadie Beth Harvey, Robin Dawn Bishop, Alishia Nichole Harvey, and Jennifer Patricia Harvey. His is also survived. by four grandsons: Bentley Wayne Rice, Rilan James Harvey, Jeremy Wayne Peel, Jr., and Jake Charles Peel. Tony also had five granddaughters: Aryanna Adalia Arvin, Alizabeth Louise Arvin, Kamryn Aleah Arvin, Julianna Kaylin Arvin, and Kelis Renee Strickland.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, March 1, 2021 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Harman Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac Street, Hagerstown. Funeral service and interment private.
